EcoMarble Technical Data & Installation Resources
Product information, responsible-use guidance and controlled documents for EcoMarble™ projects in Australia.
Responsible use
Crystalline silica
The composite backing formulation contains 0% crystalline silica and no intentionally added crystalline silica. Natural marble may contain naturally occurring crystalline silica. Crystalline silica identified in whole-panel testing is attributable to the natural marble layer, not the backing. The complete panel is not described as silica-free.
Cutting and fabrication
Use appropriate stone-cutting controls when cutting, drilling or grinding. Wet-cutting methods or suitable dust extraction, appropriate PPE and applicable workplace safety procedures are required.
Wet-area walls
Suitability depends on substrate, waterproofing, sealing, adhesive selection, joint detailing and installation method. EcoMarble is not a substitute for a waterproofing membrane.
Fire and exterior use
No blanket fire rating or exterior suitability is claimed. Any fire, wind, moisture, fixing or façade use requires project-specific evidence and technical assessment.
Any customs or tariff advice remains described as lodged / outcome pending until a formal result is received. Third-party reports are shared only within their tested scope.
Controlled documents
Download the current Australian-market documents. Always confirm that the issue shown is 2026.07 or later before external use.
Document control
Specifications, stone availability and supporting evidence can vary by product and project. Superseded catalogues are not published as current technical documents. Contact Nusfun if a project requires test reports or additional controlled information.
